An All-Terrain Bikepacking Build - Casey’s Nua Terra with Pinion Gearbox

At Nua, we design bikes for riders who move beyond surface categories. Terra is our all-terrain platform for adventure cycling, long-distance touring, and bikepacking - built to remain stable, balanced, and predictable across changing terrain.

Casey’s Nua Terra Pinion is a clear expression of that philosophy.

First Feedback

'NUA arrived in good shape. Took it out on first ride yesterday. Most important is it fits perfectly. Enjoyed the wide range gearing and excellent balance with the gear box low and centered. 25km uphill 1km and 25 km downhill 1km. The fat tires gave great confidence going 80kph through the curves. Beautiful fun bike. Thank you.'

Second Feedback

'I managed to get away on a little 200k test ride to the Alabama Hills. Many movies and commercials filmed here. Hard dirt, soft dirt, sand, pavement, even a little mud. NUA did great. The tires worked very well and the endless gear box is very nice. The highest peak in the continental USA is located up behind me, the lowest place out in Death Valley is about 120k out to the east. Looking forward to more riding in this magnificent area. Thank you for building me such a fine machine.'

A Bike for Distance, Load and Changing Terrain

Casey’s feedback captures what Nua Terra is built for: adventure cycling, touring, and bikepacking on real terrain, where surface conditions change constantly and reliability matters more than trends.

Balanced, durable, and precisely fitted, the Terra is designed to carry riders far, wherever the road ends.

Thank you, Casey, for trusting us with your ride.
